GAAD: Global Accessibility Awareness Day
You're invited to join us for the full closing day of AccessU activities - and Happy Hour on the 15th to kick things off! Your ticket includes:
- May 15 Speed Networking Happy Hour GAAD Kickoff at St. Ed's / 5:30 pm
- May 16 AccessU events include Unconference, closing Keynote, and 18 accessibility skills training classes to choose from / 8:00 am - 3:30 pm.
- Breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided
- Free open parking at St. Ed's.
GAAD tickets are $125. Scholarships available for students, people with disabilities, and those unemployed. Contact us at AccessU@knowbility.org for more info.
All activities are hosted by St. Edward's University at 3001 South Congress Austin, Texas 78704 and streamed online for remote participation. Hope to see you there or online!

- 10:15 - 11:45 AM: Closing Keynote Panel: Connecting the Paths: Harnessing Expertise and Bolstering Advocacy for Lasting Regulatory Change led by Corbb O'Connor with Susanna Laurin, John G. Pare, Jr., and Whitney Quesenbery, in Jones Auditorium (Ragsdale Hall)
- 12:00 noon: Lunch and Unconference Discussions in Mabee Ballroom (Ragsdale Hall)
- 2:00 - 3:30 PM: Classes in Trustee Hall
